If you're gonna ask me what I know about HTML or codes or anything else related to customizing web pages manually, then prepare for the death stare. I currently have an impressive 5.7% knowledge about it, and that is after changing my blog layout twice within the past year.
I have to thank Google, though, and every blog author who've posted tips and tricks in customizing stuff not provided by Blogger for the ignoramus like me. Also, I thank the existence of CSS.
See, I usually type in keywords in the search bar, even if sometimes they don't make sense at all (i.e. "gadget title vector"), and crazily click on links that would lead me to the most Anne-friendly walkthrough out there. Some of them instruct HTML editing and although all I need to do is ctrl+F then copy+paste the codes, I still find it somewhat confusing, especially when I get the dreaded red tag warning prompt. So, what I normally do is cling on to blogs that contains the magical word 'CSS.' Ha, I know! Stress-free coding! Easy breezy.
Obviously, I'm writing this because sleep ignored me last night (an excuse so I can play around with my layout again). Nothing major, just the sidebar, which looks organized now. I also added an Instagram feed and additional pages because, YOLO. (Ha ha, I hate that term.)
After all that talk, I can say that I now have overcome the intimidating presence of HTML. Though I clearly have a bunch more to learn, at least I'm making progress. I won't stop until I get to personalize everything in this blog. Fight!
It just dawned on me that after mentioning 'CSS' twice (oops, make that thrice) on this post, I actually have no idea know what it stands for! Shame.
~'Cascading Style Sheet.' Oooh. I love you, Goo. You just made my understanding of the HTML jargon skyrocket to 5.9%. Thankyouverymuch.~
