Those gorgeous blue eyes, redder-than-a-baby's lips, perfectly coiffed hair (still perfect even when disheveled), and the I-make-girls-swoon accent are just a few things that make James McAvoy THE Perfect Man.
I saw X-Men First Class yesterday. Instead of feeling fatigue from a long stretch of mentoring (ugh, I hate graveyard shifts), I had high spirits by the time I got home. I knew I had to see X-Men before the day ends, but I was broke. I needed to beg/force somebody to treat me to the movies. Who else to call but TJ? I did not fail. Around 7pm that night, the whole family was entering the movie house. I only got 3 hours of sleep, by the way. All negativity from a certain 'drama' earlier went away once James flashed into the screen. I couldn't help but swoon, honestly and literally. My sister was laughing at me but I didn't care. I slid down my seat, hands on my face, hiding a lovestruck scream-giggle and a huge fat smile on my bloated face. TOTOO ANG LAKAS NG KILIG KO! :) Seeing him on the big screen even drove me to text my friends that I wanted a boyfriend, now na. Ibang klase! My friends' replies were just priceless, I couldn't even imagine. It's been more than 24 hours and I'm still feeling giddy. :)
I have loved James since seeing Penelope. I had the movie on rerun forever. I especially loved the part when he was playing the piano, and the "All Halloween I've been running into someone I used to know" scene. His role as Max/Johnny is very laid back as compared to his future films. He was a grungy gambler but still looked clean and handsome, you could not help but adore him. And those blue eyes. And that accent.
Not that I didn't like The Last King of Scotland and Atonement, but I did not pay as much attention to them, which I should have done since those were his critically acclaimed films. The fast forward and play buttons were exercised, skipping parts without James on it. Ha ha. Admit it, you've done that countless times as well. :) That oozing appeal in Atonement, gaaah I die. And those blue eyes. And that accent.
Becoming Jane! So, girl crush meets forever love. This is a film not everybody can appreciate but I loved it to bits. Cheesy, I know. I remember playing it for my friends and they all snoozed halfway through the movie. Suh-weet. "I cannot yet offer marriage, but you must know what I feel. Jane, I'm yours. God, I'm yours. I'm yours, heart and soul. Much good that is." Kilig to the bones. "Jane, I have tried. I have tried and I cannot live this lie. Can you?" Sabay elope. I love it. Haha. :)
Wanted. What else can I say. Everyone has seen the film. Badass. What the fuck have you done lately?
Starter for 10 I only saw on HBO. Geeks/nerds/smart men are hot. 'Nuff said.
