❅ christmas questions ❅

Ha. Not really. This is another one of those "I'm bored so ask me anything!" lists on Tumblr and here I am, utterly bored and Q&A-ing myself on Blogger.

Gingerbread: Do you like tea?
Here's the thing, I can down a cuppa tea like water.

Tinsel: What perfume/cologne do you wear?
Right now I'm sneaking spritzes of Glow from my aunt because she hates glitter. I don't have and refuse to spend extra cash on perfumes, but the scents that I LOVE are Dior Addict 2, Moschino Light Clouds and, of course, L'eau Par Kenzo.

Ribbon: What's a book that had a strong impact on you?
As a kid, I frequented the library and read every Nancy Drew and Mickey Mouse and Friends book that I laid my eyes on. During my teens there were Harry Potter, Archie, and A Series of Unfortunate Events. These remind me of happy, carefree days, and were basically the pillars that solidified my love for books and reading.

Holly: Who was the last person you sent a letter to?
Uhm, myself? futureme.org, two years ago. (Or there could have been someone else, although it must have been work-related since I do not remember.) -- OH WAIT! MY MANAGER. EXPLANATION LETTERS TO THREE CONSECUTIVE TARDINESS MEMOS. ALL FRIGGIN' RIGHT.

Christmas Carole: Would you change your name if you could?
Sometimes I wonder how it would feel like to have a unique, too-cool-for-school name but naaah, I can't see myself as anyone other than Anne Margaret.

Santa: What's your favorite month?
Call me biased but it has got to be November, for a couple reasons: birthday month, 13th month pay, NBS warehouse sale. Also, it's the second best -ber month, the one that precedes the most wonderful time of the year and gathers all the wondrous feels so why the hell not.

Noell: At a movie theatre, which armrest is yours?
Both, cos I'm usually alone and nobody dares sit beside me.

Rudolf: What's a band a family member introduced you to?
My sister got obsessed with Mr. Brightside when it came out ages ago and that led me to discover the beauty that is Brandon Flowers and The Killers.

Candy Cane: Can you make paper snowflakes?
Maybe, if you teach me.

Eggnog: What was the name of your first stuffed animal?
I have no idea. But I did have a pillow. It was purple and I called it my "violet unan" and it was my favorite.

Ice: Would you rather be overdressed or underdressed at every party?
One, I don't go to parties. Two, I am a boring jeans-shirt-cardigan person. So there.

Hot Cocoa: What's your favorite thing about yourself?
God, I don't know. I'll come up with something and then counterattack it with all my negative traits so I give up. I am a terrible human being.

Yule Log: Least favorite vegetable?
Sweet potato.

Stocking: What color are your socks right now?
I'd like to imagine that I'm wearing knee-high rainbow socks, thank you very much.

Elf: If you had unlimited money to one shop, which shop would it be?
Fully Booked. Duh.

Wreath: Are you allergic to anything?
Dust. I have terrible nose problems and when the rhinitis/sinusitis attacks, all the tissue paper in the world disappears.

Cookies: Top three favorite bands?
This is hard. Off the top of my head: The National, Dashboard Confessional, Vampire Weekend.

Toys: Do you want children?
Yes, but I don't want to get pregnant. It's hard enough to look like one when you aren't, you know?

Sleigh Bells: Can you whistle?
I CANNOT.

Snowman: Do you like accents?
Oh, you don't even know. The English accent puts me in a daze, in a wild daydream involving Tom Hiddleston and/or Benedict Cumberbatch. But the Scottish accent just about kills me. I find it the most adorable of all accents. Hell, serve me a full course of James. Fucking. McAvoy. Amen.
