A plethora of dishes from the eastern and western hemispheres blinded my eyes and sent a grumbling in my tummy as I walked through the magical door of this golden place. I intentionally ate a quarter of what I usually munch on during breakfast and lunch just to make sure that I had more than enough space in my intestines, brought about by excessive hunger, by dinnertime. I claimed that SkyFlakes was yummy because that's what you say when you're hungry and it becomes your savior when fighting the urge to eat real food (totally not dieting, might I add). Plus, it's free. That all rolls down to having only a doughnut, cracked crackers, and water for the duration of the I-am-not-hungry-yet-mantra time of the day. I'm physically, mentally, emotionally, whateverelse-ally set for war.
This was a celebration of what we consider a miracle, a year together at work with Batch 82. HOMAYGAS WE LASTED THAT LONG HOHOHO. I suggested a buffet dinner at Vikings. They said "Aye". The cravings of a pig and her herd. The preparation I had earlier was well spent. The buffet spread did not disappoint. Let's travel the path to heaven with photos.

Sumptuous food, lovely ambience, great company. The photos don't do any justice. I'd like to think I spent more time coursing through the food aisles than seated on our table. We definitely ate more than the boys did. Hee. Ended the night feeling high and looking drunk, albeit completely sober. Who doesn't love buffets? :)
