Lay out your options. Be patient. Don't rush.
We sometimes tend to be impulsive in decision making. Decisions, which may either be life-altering or just plain shallow. We go through this every single day, from simple things like what meal to buy or whether to ride the bus or the train, to wondering if we should stick with our line of work or find a new one. Some only require a yes or a no. Others need a list of viable options. Weighing out these options is the tough part. I think what's essential is that we give time to comprehend what would be best for us in all aspects. Not just the immediate happiness it will provide but the pleasure it will bring in the long run. This process might inflict stress but it's just a matter of figuring out the perfect option. Spontaneity is definitely not advisable for heavier matters. I should know. If things don't work out or disappoint us, it's still cool. We learn best from it.
