It was Thursday but it felt like a Monday and I was already planning to leave work ASAP to do my catch-up tv. I would've missed out on this date had I not read Bea's message on Facebook.
Once again it's just me, Aina, Bea and Gee. We usually invite the barkada but then it would always end up with just the four of us. I'm going to call us the "(adjective to follow) dinner club" henceforth. We had set to eat at a certain restaurant but ended up at Madeca.
Refreshing iced tea in a pretty jar. Really digging this.
A server approached our table and gave us mini paper bags. Tearing it, we saw candies and junk food inside. Aina said that they gave away a bunch of these last Easter. Haha.
Sisig Mexikanin.
Salpicao Soft Tacos. All mine!
Salpicao Mexikanin.
Somebody had just Coke Zero that night, I won't tell who. One day I'll have the discipline to monitor my meals. Until that day, expect me to be a happy, unhealthy piggy.
We were laughing the entire time, just as every group of friends who sit around a table after not meeting for two months do. We talked about a single theme: flirting. Ways to flirt without being obvious. Why flirting is fun. What to do when someone is luring you into his radar but then he is not a he but a she and that's a problem. Wishing an ungrateful fate for the person your crush is dating. Still having no one to flirt with. Guess where I fall into that crazy mix. Smiley face. And then there's also crying over an unpopular song that suddenly plays on the radio. Sad face.
One said no posting of faces. I'm sorry I'm posting photos of our faces but these are the panget and candid ones and this blog reaches zero readers so I believe I'm already forgiven.

Our table, after two hours. It was a great meal: yummy Fil-Mex fusion at a reasonable price. Their bestsellers are the Madeca Burger and Sisig Tacos. I'll definitely come back to try 'em.
Unable to control the temptation, we went to Pagliacci to have gelato. P100 for two scoops was a steal but I wasn't a fan. I would prefer Gelatissimo/Sebastian's/Merry Moo over it at any time. (ETA: I checked out Madeca's Facebook page and found out that they have collab'd with Sebastian's for summer popsicles! That explains the ice cream freezer. Another reason to come back!)
Right before leaving, we saw that Wildflour Cafe + Bakery was soon to open at the ground level of Podium. Our next date is already set in May. Or maybe, June, haha. Looking forward to it!
