Waiting for water

I texted our water supplier, "Water," to pick up our containers an hour ago. No, omit the 's' -- container. Just one. Because even though today's payday, I am way blessed to have PhP 00.00 in my wallet. My sister, who is poorer than me, left enough change so I can order 5 gallons while I asked her to withdraw money for poor me. A couple minutes ago, I received a call from Water. I rarely answer phone calls but I did this time, only to hear static waves. Ended the call after uttering two hellos (that's how impatient I am) and re-sent my earlier message to pick up our fucking container. Been waiting like a hawk but still got no reply. I wouldn't even mind about this if we had enough drinking water to last 'til Monday but what's left in the fridge is one measly pitcher enough for 20 piggy gulps. Oh. Well.
